Lucario for 1vs1

Right this is going to take some work :/

If it's 1v1 then it's all about coverage speed and power, no setup at all so you're right there.

Item should be focus sash, 2 hits are better than 1 and a 30 or 50% boost would still be worse

Well since you're going mix I would not suggest 2 moves of the same type even if they are for different sides of the spectrum. Maybe run a moveset of Counter : Extremespeed : Ice Punch / Hidden Power [ice] : Crunch But ofcourse that is kinda full physical :/


Maybe a mix set could be Close Combat : Shadow Ball / Dark Pulse : Bullet Punch / Extremespeed : Hidden Power [Ice] / [Electric]


EVs are generally quite tough for mix attackers but the physical set would be very simple

Nature: Adamant
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 attack / 252 speed / 4 sp def
Moves:
-Counter / Close Combat
-Bullet punch / Extremespeed
-Ice Punch
-Crunch


Mix maybe something along the lines of

Lucario @ Focus Sash
Nature: Mild / Naughty / Lonely / Rash
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 sp attack / 252 attack / 4 spe Or 252 sp attk / 176 spe / 80 attack
Moves:
-Close Combat
-Shadow Ball / Dark Pulse
-Bullet Punch / Extremespeed
-Hidden Power [Ice] / [Electric]

I love lucario, its such a versatile pokemon

Let's start with the Item!

I must agree with Fake, I can't express how much you will want focus sash. HOWEVER, there is always the issue of status moves like Spore. So Lum berry should always be considered.

Ability should be inner focus for sure on lucario.

Personal Moveset of choice for a MIXED attacker:

Drain Punch
Bullet Punch
Dragon Pulse
Shadow ball

EVs and nature

Brave (+ atk - SpD) 176 Attack, 252 Sp Attack, 80 Hp

This puts Lucario at 301 Hp, 330 Attack, 329 Sp Attack at level 100 with 31 IVs in each.

Finally, its your pokemon. Feel free to do whatever the heck you want with it. This is just a suggestion.
