Obtain a Rare Eevee Evolution via the Dream WorldThe Pokémon Company International has launched a new mini-game on their website recently. It is based on the arcade game "Breakout". The object of the game is to move a small paddle across the bottom of the screen in order to break the Blocks above. Certain bricks will cause colored spheres to fall down, each of which is representing one of the seven different Eevee evolutions.
If you manage to complete all ten levels, you will have the choice of receiving one of the Eevee evolutions you collected during the game (via the spheres). Once you’ve selected an Eevee evolution it cannot be changed. You will receive it the first time you connect to the Global Link service when it goes live, which should be some time in April or May.
Each Eevee evolution is at Level 10 and they all know their exclusive Dream World ability, which they cannot normally learn in the game. I have listed the seven Eevee evolutions available with their ability, and a short statement on what the ability does.
Vaporeon – Hydration: Heals Status Conditions in Rain.
Jolteon – Quick Feet: Speed increases when inflicted with a Status Condition.
Flareon – Guts: Attack increases when inflicted with a Status Condition.
Espeon – Magic Bounce: Reflects status-altering moves back to the opponent.
Umbreon – Inner Focus: Cannot Flinch.
Leafeon – Chlorophyll: Speed increases in Sunshine.
Glaceon – Ice Body: HP is restored gradually during Hail.
In order to get the Eevee evolution in your copy Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version, you will need to create a Pokémon Trainer Club account, sign in, and play the “Play to Befriend a Pokémon!” game. Their is also no news on when this event will end so you might want to do it soon before its to late!
