How to Download Pokemon Online
One might ask themselves what exactly is this "Pokemon Online" I speak of.
Well the answer is - Pokemon Online is the most up to date Pokemon Battle Simulator which allows a person to battle against Players around the world... but we will be using it as somewhere for our members to battle and somewhere for us to have our tourneys.
How does it work?It’s as easy as downloading the program onto your computer and then setting up your team, going onto a server and finding one of us, preferably.
How to download?First one would have to go to:
http://www.pokemon-online.eu/downloads.php
Once there you will need to click on the appropriate download as shown below.
You then download the program and run it and hey presto you have Pokemon Online (PO)
Once downloaded click on ‘Pokemon_Online.exe’ and the main menu screen will pop up
From the main menu click on ‘Team Builder’ to start making your team. Once open fill out the text boxes and pick your trainer. As shown below
Next move onto the ‘Team Tab’. This is where you are able to create your team. There’s every Pokemon to choose from. Remember before making your team to make sure they are all in preferably the OverUsed Tier. This tier allows all Pokemon except Ubers to be used, to check and see what Pokemon are classified as Uber go to http://www.smogon.com/dp/tiers/uber . As long as none of your Pokemon are any specified above then you will be fine when we start using PO as a battling source.
How do I make a Pokemon for my team? (numbers refer to the picture below)
1. Pick an empty slot on your team
2. Type in the Pokemon you wish to have
3. Choose a nickname (not required)
4. Pick an item the Pokemon will hold
5. Select Advanced and side window (this will bring up the section on the right)
6. Choose which nature you want your Pokemon to be
7. Choose its gender
8. Choose its ability (one will be selected already, leave it or change it depending if the Pokemon can have one or more abilities
9. If you want them to have a hidden power move choose its type
10. You can select whether it’s shiny or not
11. This is where you select its EV’s (make sure you use them)
12. Here is where the moves they can learn will be, select which move you want and double click it, it will then come down and be in one of the four boxes directly under
Okay that’s how you make a Pokemon, now rinse and repeat 5 more times and you will have your team, don’t forget to
SAVEEE!Now you have to get to the main menu again. From there click ‘Go Online’. Simply double click a server link to enter (for now we will be using the Beta Server) Now go to register down the bottom to register your name.
