The Pokémon Company International has finally launched the online Pokémon Trading Card Game. The online battle simulator is currently in its beta stage so you may encounter a bug or two, if you choose to play it. Though, the point of launching a beta is so these bugs can be discovered and fixed before the full game launches next month.
Once you’ve created a Pokémon Trainer Club account, you will be able to customise your own avatar and select either a Meganium, Typhlosion, or Feraligatr theme deck. With your deck in hand, you are finally able to face off against the fourteen Trading Card Leaders across three different leagues.
Other features which will be available when the full version is released are the ability to battle other players from around the world online, customise your decks, and even import upcoming Black and White series theme decks into the game by entering a special code which comes inside every box.
